Day 1 – Arrival in Nyingchi | Gala Peach Valley – Sejila Pass – Lulang Forest Sea

Altitude: 2800–3300m | Driving: 60km

Arrive at Nyingchi Mainling Airport, where your guide will greet you and assist with travel permit procedures. After lunch, begin your journey into one of Tibet’s most beautiful regions.

Your first stop is the Gala Peach Blossom Village, famous for its vast natural peach orchards that bloom spectacularly each spring. Thousands of wild peach trees paint the valley in shades of pink, set against the dramatic backdrop of snow-covered Himalayan peaks.

Continue driving through the breathtaking Lulang Forest Sea, a landscape of dense alpine forests, rolling meadows, and misty mountains. Along the way, stop at Sejila Mountain Pass, one of the best viewpoints in eastern Tibet, offering distant views of the magnificent Namcha Barwa Peak, one of the most beautiful mountains in the Himalayas.

In the evening, visit a local Tibetan family home for a cultural experience. Try traditional Tibetan archery, learn about local customs, and enjoy a delicious home-cooked Tibetan farmhouse dinner.

After breakfast, depart from Lulang and drive toward the stunning Pomi Peach Blossom Valley, home to one of the largest wild peach forests in the world. During spring, the valley becomes a magical sea of pink blossoms stretching across the mountains and river valleys.

Take time to wander through the blossom fields and enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped peaks rising above the orchards.

Along the way, stop at Kading Valley Waterfall, where dramatic cliffs and rushing waterfalls create a spectacular natural scene typical of the Nyingchi region.

Visit a local Tibetan farmhouse to enjoy a simple and authentic farm-to-table lunch experience.
