Day 01: Chengdu- Danba 357km
We pick up you at hotel early this morning and depart. It’s a long drive day today. You can rest in the car, enjoy beautiful snow mountains, grazing yaks, and vast grassland passing by.
Accommodation: Shengdi Yingxiang Cultural Theme Hostel or similar hotel
Day 02: Danba
Today you can relax, have a good sleep, when you wake up, you will find yourself in a beautiful valley, outside of the window, it’s magnificent plateau and lovely villages await. Later we go to a local Tibetan house and have lunch with them. After it, we visit Suopo village, it is famous for ancient watchtowers.

Day 03: Danba- Dingguoshan Mountain- Bamei 98km
Today we drive to the legendary Dingguoshan Mountain, it is pure lotusland for buddhists. The landscape here integrates countless snow mountains, grassland, forest and lakes. We will have a hike in the mountain around 2-3 hours. Later enjoy a nice afternoon tea we prepare for you.

Day 04: Bamei
After breakfast, we visit Huiyuan Monastery, here the monk will kindly introduce you about Tibetan buddhism. We prepare you the yoga mat, let’s have a peaceful meditation together. Later we visit the birth place of the 11th Dalai Lama. After that, drive to Moshi Park, the crushing, grinding and shearing rocks forest is just as if you were in the alien planet.

Day 05:Bamei- Longdeng Grassland- Daofu 80km
This morning we drive to the beautiful Longdeng Grassland in Daofu, here we visit a nomad family, experience real Tibetan nomadic lifestyle! After that we are invited to a local Daofu family, learn to make baozi. Later visit old street of daofu. If time allows, we can also learn to make Tibetan medicine mask, it is now an intangible cultural heritage. After that we drive to the lake side, set up camp and prepare for bbq, spend our night in the camp tonight.

Day 06: Daofu- Tagong- Xinduqiao 223km
After breakfast, we drive to Tagong Monastery. Not too far away, at Muya Golden Pogoda, we will enjoy a nice afternoon tea. In front of you, it is the holy Mt. Yala. Later drive to our destination at Xinduqiao.

Day 07: Xinduqiao- Kangding- Chengdu 335km
Xinduqiao is known as the photographer’s paradise. Take a walk in this peaceful Tibetan town in the morning. Later drive back to Chengdu, our tour finishes.

Yes, we provide 1L oxygen bottles for each tourist. For destinations further from Lhasa, we also supply medical-grade oxygen canisters, which are more effective than small bottles. It’s also advisable to prepare some altitude sickness medication as a precaution.

Most of our guests choose to fly into Tibet, with many domestic cities offering flights to Lhasa. It’s the quickest way, usually taking 1-3 hours, compared to over 20 hours by train. Train tickets can only be booked 15 days in advance.
Q: Do we have to carry our luggage, or will it be transported?
Large luggage can be stored in the vehicle or left at hotels during your stay. You’ll only need to carry personal items and anything you might need for the day’s activities.
