Day 01: Dali Arrival
Airport pickup service, transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Dali, Xizhou, Zhoucheng, Erhai Lake
Our guide will lead you to explore Dali Ancient Town in the morning. After driving 20km to Xizhou, you will join the Three-course Tea Ceremony, which is most popular among Bai people and serves distinguished guests.
Continue to go to Zhoucheng, and various traditional customs are well preserved here. Visit a local Tie Dye Workshop, learn, and make one yourself. After, take the eco-friendly car to drive around and enjoy Erhai Lake.
Day 03: Dali to Shangrila 350km/4.5hrs
After breakfast, drive to Pudacuo Park, famous for its well-preserved landscape. There are beautiful lakes, primitive forests, vast meadows, streams, and more. Later, arrive at Shangrila, and visit Dukuzong Ancient Town and Guishan Park with the world’s most enormous prayer wheel. Climb up to the temple on the top, and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. At night, you can join locals dancing in the square.
Day 04: Songzanlin Monastery & Drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge
Go to Songzanlin Monastery to see the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan. In the castle-like complex(also known as Little Potala Palace), you will experience the mystery and traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
Later, drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. Visit Upper Gorge, and walk on the 2.6-kilometer stone trail along Jinsha River. After, drive to Half Way to stay overnight.
Day 05 Hiking from Half Way to Tina's & Drive to Lijiang 90km/2hrs
The hike from Half Way to Tina’s takes around 3 hours. Enjoy views of the towering snow-capped mountains, and embrace the small waterfall through the village and up a winding path. After that, take the vehicle to Lijiang.
Day 06: Lijiang
After breakfast, drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and take a 25-minute cableway to Glacier Park. You will see the vegetation changes with ascending altitude. Walk along the plank road to reach 4680m and appreciate the fairyland with ice and snow.
Take the cableway down, and drive to visit turquoise-colored water in Blue Moon Valley.
Afterward, go to Yuhu Village, and enjoy its unique architecture and culture seen nowhere else. The national geographic explorer Joseph Rock stayed here for over 20 years, visiting the museum, which was turned by his former residence.
Day 07: Lijiang Departure
Transfer to airport, tour finishes.

Our tours are designed for small groups, with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 13 people. This ensures a more personalized and enjoyable travel experience.
Q: Will medical assistance be provided for altitude sickness?
Yes, we provide 1L oxygen bottles for each tourist. For destinations further from Lhasa, we also supply medical-grade oxygen canisters, which are more effective than small bottles. It’s also advisable to prepare some altitude sickness medication as a precaution.
Q: How do most guests travel to Tibet?
Most of our guests choose to fly into Tibet, with many domestic cities offering flights to Lhasa. It’s the quickest way, usually taking 1-3 hours, compared to over 20 hours by train. Train tickets can only be booked 15 days in advance.
Q: Do we have to carry our luggage, or will it be transported?
Large luggage can be stored in the vehicle or left at hotels during your stay. You’ll only need to carry personal items and anything you might need for the day’s activities.
